Anthony Smith Retires Alexander Gustafsson At UFC Fight Night Stockholm

Anthony Smith continues to prove his doubters wrong.

Smith, who went 25 minutes with Jon Jones for the UFC light heavyweight title earlier this year, submitted Alexander Gustafsson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 153 live on ESPN+ from Stockholm, Sweden.

Despite entering into hostile territory, Smith was able to secure his 32nd career win and yet another finish inside the Octagon.

This was also the final fight in the storied career of “The Mauler,” who announced his retirement after the loss. Gustafsson fell to Jones this past December via TKO.
