Darrick Minner will get his chance to impress UFC president Dana White on Tuesday night.
Minner, who is 22-9 in his career, takes on Herbert Burns as part of the next edition of Dana White’s Contender Series.
The 29-year-old Nebraska City native is coming off a 31-second submission win over former UFC fighter Clay Collard. He is 5-2 over his last seven fights, with all five of those wins coming via submission.
Burns previously fought under the ONE Championship banner, winning his first six career fights. His last two bouts have been with Titan TC, as he has submitted Luis Gomez and Aibek Nurseit.
Unbeaten Omar Morales and 12-win Harvey Park are set to headline the card.
The event airs live on ESPN+ from the UFC Apex beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
Morales is unbeaten over seven career fights, with Park holding an overall record of 12-2.
The card also features Lucrezia Ria vs. Marilla Santos, Taylor Johnson vs. Andre Muniz and Dwight Joseph vs. Jay Perrin.
