Midwest Championship Fighting 11

MCF 11-2This saturday you won’t want to miss Midwest Championship Fighting 11.  A night full of awesome fights including professional bantamweight bout between two of the midwest fastest growing fights, Ryan McDonald and Corey Roberts.  Ryan McDonald, a North Platte native, has been on a terror since making his professional debut last year at this very event going 3 and 0 in the last 12 months with victories at MCF, King of the Cage and Legion Combat Sports, McDonald has proven to be one of the top young up and comers in the midwest.  He will be competing against the tough Corey Roberts.  Roberts is 2-2 in his professional career with his his losses coming from veterans like Charlie Dubray (14-12) and Kevin (TJ) Benson (5-15).  Corey has become a force to be reckoned with after his move to Skywalker 101 and coach Danny Molina, we expect this fight to live up to the hype.

The co-main event is  against to heavyweight veterans in MMA, Eric Prindle takes on Maurice Jackson.  “The American Soldier” Eric Prindle(9-7),  steps into the MCF cage with some credentials that are unlike any other.  Prindle is a 4 time armed forces boxing champion, and is a former Bellator Heavyweight tournament Champion.  He will be taking on Maurice Jackson (3-1), Jackson is also a Bellator veteran with a win of Matt Uhde, after taking some time off Jackson is ready to make his name on the sport once again.

The featured Amateur fight of the night will be a heavyweight title fight between two elite Heavyweights.  In the matchup Braden Erdman vs Jason Windham we have the opportunity to see a name we have missed in the midwest make his way back to take back his status as the top amateur heavyweight in the midwest.  We lost saw Jason Windham(4-2) in 2014 when he took on Skyler Heckman at RFA 13 in Lincoln, NE.  The real story here is that Windham has since then moved to Arizona to pursue his dream of becoming a cop, but you can’t keep a great fighter away forever.  He will be taking on Braden Erdman (4-1) who has really been the heavyweight to step in and replace the void left by Windham’s departure.  Erdman is coming off his 1st loss and we expect him to step into the cage with something to prove.
