Midwest Championship Fighting will bring a stacked card to North Platte, Nebraska this Saturday several fights set for action inside the cage at MCF 16: Validation.
Four light heavyweights will square off in the main and co-main event as Julius Anglickas meets Bradan Erdman and Jaquis Williams battles Tony Johnson. Those winners will advance to MCF 17 to meet for the 205-pound title.
Both the amateur flyweight title and amateur bantamweight belt are scheduled to be on the line, with several others ready for action.
Isaiah Torres, unbeaten at 5-0, will put his flyweight amateur title on the line vs. Nebraska’s Jesse Ferebee.
Baron Muller and Nick Honstein are set for action at 140 pounds, along with lightweights Nolan McLaughlin and Jordan Downey.
Midwest Championship Fighting dates back to 1998 when Kelly Wiseman brought the promotion to life. Wiseman was a member of the Miletich Fighting Systems Elite Fight Team prior to retiring from the sport.
Benson Henderson, Luke Caudillo, Justin Salas, Tony Johnson and others have all called the MCF home during their careers.
Russ Jones paired up with Wiseman in 2013 to put the promotion back on the map in Nebraska and the Midwest MMA region.
