Never Stop

I never stop training. Since my Tuff-N-Uff fight got cancelled for December 19th, I have not really slowed down too much.  I train seven days a week no matter what. It was a little disappointing that the fight got cancelled. I was hoping to fight but the Casino, where they were holding the fights decided that it was a little too close to Christmas time so they cancelled it.

I do have another fight coming up though that I am looking forward to. I will be fighting for the Pinnacle Combat 155 belt January 24th in Dubuque, Iowa. I still have that coming up so I am never really out of the gym. chance trainThe Tuff-N-Uff fight was disappointing because I was feeling really good about my conditioning and my training and I just wanted to see what I could have done with the new tools. I always have a daily grind and rarely take a break. The only time I ever take a break is right after a fight, just to heal a little.  I take off two or three days but that’s really it. This is my life. I have a new wrestling coach who was a Division 1 Champion at Iowa State and an alternate on the Olympic team so I am pretty excited to use what he has taught me. I have learned a lot.

I think if you want to be the best at what you do, you have to commit your entire life to it. Mixed Martial Arts just happens to be what I have chosen to be the best at. I might complain a little sometimes but I will never give up and I will never stop…
