Recapping A Busy Weekend With UFC, Bellator Events

The UFC held a card in Singapore this past weekend and Bellator had two cards take place on back-to-back nights.

Demian Maia, a former UFC title contender, was the big winner inside the Octagon. Maia submitted former Bellator and ONE champion Ben Askren.

As for Bellator, Douglas Lima walked out of Bellator 232 with both the welterweight title and welterweight grand prix crown. Lima earned $1 million for his decision victory over Rory MacDonald.

Bellator 231 featured Frank Mir earning a victory over Roy Nelson.
