Tito Ortiz Finally Gets The Better Of Chuck Liddell, Scores KO

Tito Ortiz finally got the better of long-time rival Chuck Liddell, earning a first round knockout in the main event of Golden Boy MMA 1 Saturday night from The Forum in Los Angeles.

Twice previously in the UFC, Liddell earned victories over Ortiz. This time around, though, “The Iceman” had nothing in the arsenal for Ortiz.

The event marked the debut for Oscar de la Hoya as a promoter of MMA matches, with the main card airing live on pay-per-view. The former boxing champion has been making moves in mixed martial arts, and this is expected to be the first of many events in the coming months.
