UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway appeared on “UFC Tonight” Wednesday night to discuss his fight with Brian Ortega at UFC 226 this weekend.
Hours later, though, Holloway found himself in the hospital with concussion-like symptoms and his fight this Saturday vs. Ortega inside the T-Mobile Arena was off.
In the interview with Michael Bisping and Kenny Florian, “Blessed” appeared to be a bit off, as noted by Bisping.
Ortega, the top contender to the belt after his finish of Frankie Edgar, has also been removed from the card and will likely wait for his shot at Holloway.
The card will go on, as Stipe Miocic defends his heavyweight title vs. Daniel Cormier.
