UFC 231 Results: Blessed Night For Max Holloway, Valentina Shevchenko

Max Holloway retained his featherweight title and Valentina Shevchenko left UFC 231 a champion this past Saturday night.

Holloway scored an impressive fourth round TKO over Brian Ortega when the doctor stepped in. The bout served as the main event inside the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

The win was the 13th in a row for “Blessed,” has now reeled off wins over Ortega, Jose Aldo and Jeremy Stephens.

Shevchenko, meanwhile, claimed a decision over Joanna Jedrzejczyk to capture her first UFC crown. She had previously been denied by Amanda Nunes for the bantamweight belt.
