When the UFC welterweight title fight between champion Kamaru Usman and top contender Colby Covington was first announced, Usman was the decided favorite in the eyes of the betting world.
Now, as we inch closer to Saturday night’s UFC 245 card from Las Vegas and the T-Mobile Arena, the odds are moving in the favor of the former interim titleholder.
Kamaru Usman opened as roughly a -300 favorite in his first title defense against Colby Covington, but has seen his odds get considerably worse and now sits around -170 to -200 at most sportsbooks. Covington, meanwhile, opened as +230 and has been bet down to the +145 to +165 range.
Seeing as there are only a few days left till the fight, it might be smart to keep an eye out in case the odds change again. The few sportsbooks mentioned from this site will be handy because they are known to update their odds pretty quick compared to other sites out there.
The card also features two other title fights, with Max Holloway defending his featherweight belt vs. Alexander Volkanovski and Germaine de Randamie challenging Amanda Nunes for her bantamweight title.
UFC 245 is a stacked card from top to bottom we wrap up the main card with Marlon Moraes trying to prove himself against the test Jose Aldo. And Petr Yan is looking to prove himself as one of the great up and coming featherweights but he has to beat the ageless Urijah Faber. Also on this card is Ben Saunders, Mike Perry, Ian Heinich, Matt Brown and on the prelims you won’t want to miss Jessica Eye as she takes on Viviane Araújo.
