Justin Gaethje and Tony Ferguson put on the kind of battle most expected Saturday night at UFC 249.
But not many believed it would be as one-sided as it ended up.
Gaethje dominated Ferguson, scoring a fifth round TKO victory to become the new interim UFC lightweight champion.
In the co-main event of the night, Henry Cejudo defended his bantamweight title with a second round finish of former champion Dominick Cruz.
Moments after the decision, Cejudo announced he would be retiring from active competition.
