Thanks to the joys of the internet, you can bet on just about anything nowadays.
That includes where current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will make his next appearance as a fighter. Odds show that it is likely to happen inside the Octagon, but you never know.
Nurmagomedov spoke out about cutting ties with the UFC after they announced plans to release any fighter who took part in the UFC 229 melee that involved Conor McGregor earlier this month. While he has his own problems to deal with involving the Nevada Athletic Commission, the unbeaten “Eagle” wanted to defend his teammates at the same time.
Rap icon 50 Cent, who has gone into business with Bellator MMA, offered Nurmagomedov millions of dollars to sign with the promotion.
So, while UFC president Dana White has stated that things are solved between the two sides, only time will tell if Nurmagomedov will fight again for the UFC.
